The Success for Boys Professional Learning Programme is a project of the Australian Government Department of Education, Science and Training developed by Curriculum Corporation in conjunction with James Cook University. The project aims to assist teachers to address the significant issues of engagement and achievement for boys in the compulsory years of schooling. The programme consists of a planning guide for project leaders and five professional learning modules for presenters and participants to use. The programme begins with the core module and then branches into four focus areas covering literacy, mentoring and role models, ICT and the needs of Indigenous boys.
