MEC senior students at Beckworth will soon have a place to unwind from their schoolwork thanks to the generosity of the local Blue Light Disco. Local policeman, Senior Sergeant Peter McCormick won the Tanya Daniel - Good Guys Ballarat’s $1,000 lucky door prize in the store’s Emergency Services Spending Spree and donated the funds to the a Maryborough Blue Light Disco to give to Beckworth.
The Blue Light Disco donated a further $3,000 which will allow the development of the leisure area. Students and staff at Beckworth were thrilled with the donation.

Beckworth Early Years
We have a very busy learning program at Beckworth Early Years. We enjoy swimming, horse riding (RDA), physiotherapy, Brain Gym, numeracy, literacy, art and P.E. One of our favourite times in class is music. We love singing, dancing and playing musical instruments. We use maracas, tapping sticks, drums and other items to make music. The music program helps with our literacy, numeracy and social skills. It’s great fun too!
